The Channel No. 5 of tea blends, the English Breakfast transcends the border of the cup it’s enjoyed in.
Few things are as emblematic as this tea blend, & that's an observation, not an exaggeration. Enjoyed for centuries, it's just as ludicrous to call yourself a tea lover without having had a cup of English Breakfast, as it is to call yourself a music connoisseur but not having heard of Beethoven’s Ninth Sympony.
Our take on this traditional blend is made out of the finest Assam TGFOP* & Ceylon FBOP** black teas to give out a delicate aromatic blend with tons of golden tips.
This original recipe from Ceylon has been in continuous use for over 160 years.
*TGFOP stands for “Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe”
**FBOP stands for "Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe".

Duration: 3-4 minutes
Temperature: 100C° (full boil)
Amount: 2.5g or 1 tsp per cup
- If you like your tea brewed stronger or weaker, adjust the amount of tea leaves.
- Brewing your tea too long can extract an undesirable bitterness from the leaves.
- Loose leaf tea can typically be steeped multiple times. However, each steeping will yield a slightly lighter flavor than the previous.
- To brew in a large teapot, increase the amount of loose leaf tea to match the total cups of water you’re using.
