Please note: We do not offer the above as instruction, only as information. Always check with your health practitioner if you have a medical condition. If you are pregnant, you should not drink herbal tea without your doctor’s consent, as some herbs can stimulate uterine contractions.
BREWING GUIDE:
Duration: 10 minutes (cover pot or cup to keep the heat longer)
Temperature: 100C° (full boil)
Amount: 1 tbsp (2.5g) per cup
For a stronger Chai flavor, simmer your water & tisanes together for 5-10 minutes.
BREWING RECOMMENDATIONS:
- If you like your tisane brewed stronger or weaker, adjust the amount of leaves than what the brewing directions call for. Brewing your tisane too long can extract an undesirable bitterness from the leaves
- Tisanes can typically be steeped multiple times. However, each steeping will yield a slightly lighter flavor than the previous.
- To brew in a large teapot, increase the amount of loose leaf to match the total cups of water you’re using.
