Rooibos (also called Red Bush Tea) is a native herb of South Africa, used widely for its health benefits to treat insomnia, asthma, eczema, stomach cramps and more. Made as a tea infusion, Roobios imparts a herbaceous and slightly sweet after taste.
Honeybush is closely related to Rooibos and both teas blend beautifully with fruits and flavours. Traditionally taken with a slice of lemon and honey to taste, it can also be served with milk.
Iced tea made with infused Rooibos, fresh fruits, mint and ice makes a wonderful refreshing summer drink. Rooibos and Honeybush are caffeine free.
